XPS Notepad
Developing a vision for the Dell XPS Professional Nomad | 2013
Developed the design intent for a versatile dual screen device that switches effortlessly between laptop, book, video conferencing set, and tablet. This creates a dual screen workflow, allowing people to combine spontaneous ways of working like notetaking with casual productivity. This design investigation influenced the creation of the Microsoft Surface Duo.
I led the development of the 3-5 year vision for the Dell XPS brand and its first-generation MVP. This involved defining the brand concept, identifying the target customer, and selecting products and services to support their creative needs. I then communicated this vision across the organization through concept workshops, video scenarios, early prototypes, usability studies, and collaboration with engineering and development teams.
